Such pyrometers may be used for recording purposes using thermocouples in conjunction with a recorder. Their main advantage is the upper limit of temperature.

    Applications of Infrared Pyrometers is not limited to one industry. Industries like cement, paint, glass, paper, rubber and more are using such instrument.
