Precautions for Soldering

Precautions for Soldering Points : Safety Precautions for Soldering
  1. It is recommended that, the surface of the jointing conductor or joint is cleaned properly.
  2. Always use the flux after cleaning the joining surface because the fluxes removing the any adhere, which are present on the surface of the conductor.
  3. Clean the tip of soldering iron after each use, for this purpose, filing the tip of the soldering iron.
  4. The tip of the soldering iron should be small enough to reach into narrow places, but it is transmitted the heat to whole surface of the jointing portion.
  5. Always use the soldering iron at maximum heat. If we use the soldering iron below than maximum heat temperature than we cannot achieve the proper soldering and the solder does not melt quickly.
  6. After completing the soldering process, the joint is wiped with a rag to remove all unnecessary solder.
