Always use the equal size of casing and caping. A 3mm round ring or insulator or washel is used between casing and wall. The advantage of this insulator is that it separate the casing from the wall and as a result humidity of the wall can not effect on the casing.
The casing and caping is available in size of 1.5 inch or (38mm) in width and 5f8 inch or (16mm) in thickness. The width of the groove is 1/4 inch or (6mm). Casing and caping is available in the length of 1 meter or 10 feet. It is also available in the sizes of 4, 51, 64, 76, 89 and 102mm.
Casing is installing on the walls and screwed. The screws which are used for casing installation are inserted on the casing to equal distance (1 m) from each other. The Screws which are used on caping are inserted to equal distance of (30cm) to each other. Casing caping wiring is installed in both vertical and horizontal positions. In this wiring system different joints are also used such as T joint, L-joint and bridge joint etc. Whenever cables are passing through the wall then first of all metal pipe or porcelain insulator is fined into the wall and then these cables are passing through the porcelain insulator or metal pipe. On the surface of caping lines are marked which mentioned the existence of the cables which are inserted in the grooves of casing. Different sizes of casing and caping are given. The life period of this wiring system is 20 years approximately Casing and caping are also available in plastic construction. Casing is a P.V.C rectangular strip. It is installed on the wall, All the cables are inserted in the casing and then caping is fitted on the casing. There is no need to screw, the caping on the casing.
