Push Button Switch

Push Button Switch Points : Push Button Switch, Definition When we press the button. the switch is actuated because its contacts are in closed position. There are two types of push buttons.
(i) Momentary-contact type.
(ii) Fixed-closure type.
In first type of push button is used for bell ringing Circuit when we press the button the switch is actuated and when we release the pressure, the switch is in non-actuated or in normal form. In second form when we press the button the switch is actuated and when we release the pressure its contacts are in closed form because a built-in spring returns the bar to its normal position causing the contact to re-close. If we again press the button then the switch is in un-actuated form or become in its off position. These switches are used in motor control circuit, with table lamp, bell circuit etc.
