A.V.O Meter

A.V.O Meter Points : A.V.O Meter, Definition A.V.O Meter, Construction and Working of A.V.O Meter We can easily measure the A.C or D.C voltage, current and resistance by using a A.V.O meter. In this instrument all three electrical functions such as voltage, current and resistance are combined and therefore we can say it A.V.O meter. To using this meter we perform the polarity and continuity tests. For this purpose we use the ohmic scale. Of A.V.O meter. Always confirm that before performing the test through A.V.O meter, there is no zero-error is occurred. If this zero-error (the pointer of A.V.O meter is not adjusted to its zero scale in normal position when instruments is not in use) is occurred then measured value is incorrect.

D.C 0 to I000V scale.
A.C 0 to 300V scale.
Ammeter ranges 0 to 20/60 µ A, 60/600mA.
Ohmmeter ranges t measure up to 2MΩ
