In case of lead, sheathed wiring system, the cables may be fixed to the surface of walls ceilings etc. in a similar manner o P.V.C sheathed cables using saddles. When working with lead sheathed Cable and especially in long lengths, great care is necessary in its manipulation Careless handling will cause innumerable twists and distortions in this sheathing which are very difficult to erase and also fractures are occur in the sheathing. Cables can be run between floors and ceilings. The lime and cement are affected on lead cable. The tough sheathed cables are consists on one, two, or three cores.

The sheathed cables are buried, into walls,, under wooden floors etc. It is cheaper wiring system. We can easily install this system. Alternations and additions are possible in this system. In this system risk of mechanical injury is possible and also this system is not beautiful because all the cables are directly installed on walls and ceilings.
